600.01 – 5,000.00 (maximum liability is $5,000) $11.50 plus $1.75 per $100.00 or fraction thereof over $600 in declared value

UPS insures up to $100 and has a $2.70 insurance minimum, so the value of the shipped product must be at least $300 to qualify for UPS shipping insurance.
Every additional $100 value over $100 is $1.05

FedEx Ground charges $1 for every $100 declared value for shipments worth over $300.

We recommend that you also purchase shipping insurance for your return. You will choose your return shipping carrier, select the amount of insurance, and add Return Shipping Signature/Insurance to the cart.  If shipping insurance is not added, the customer assumes all liability for loss or damage incurred during return transit once the guitar body leaves our facility.  All guitar bodies sent in for custom work will be returned to the shipping address provided at the time of order. Please double check your address for accuracy.
