Color Fill *

We can fill the engraved areas with an oil-based paint to achieve a higher contrast. However, we do not do any kind of sealing or clear coating afterwards. With use, the paints might patina making a cool, antiqued look. Color fill looks great but is not necessary. Purely personal preference of the guitar owner.

Once you fill out the Guitar Body Form and we verify that we can safely process your guitar body, we will reply with a confirmation code for you to enter with your order. Orders without the confirmation code cannot be accepted and will be refunded. DO NOT strip your guitar until we have confirmed.

Prior to Ordering

Contact Us Here prior to ordering so we may confirm that we can safely process your Fender Strat body.  Include photos of your guitar and/or reference images from our site for your engraving. We will respond quickly with a confirmation code for you to enter with your order and the address to send your guitar body to.  DO NOT strip the guitar until we have confirmed. Now get ready to start the process of making the axe of your dreams.  Please allow 1-4 weeks for processing.

The Process

You provide us with your stripped Fender Stratocaster guitar body. We blow your mind by laser engraving our 1st Fender Strat style design into it. We will only engrave 50 of this design. All Fender Strat engravings come with our custom acrylic pickguard and tremolo cover with your choice of pickup pattern and color. The Dust Storm Engraving logo with serial number is engraved in the area hidden by the pickguard giving you a numbered work of functional art you can shred on or hang on your wall. These works will all have unique one-off qualities.

We do not disassemble or reassemble the guitars. If you are uncomfortable doing so yourself, we recommend you have a skilled luthier do that for you.  This service cost is $620 plus shipping and optional insurance (You save $100 from our Fender Strat style engraved guitars by supplying your own guitar body).
